About the School
“The Location is beautiful, the facility is great, the instructor
is a master, the class size is excellent and you can learn a bunch!”
-Bob K. – Illinois
To accommodate novice and experienced woodworkers, classes are offered that cover an array of techniques and a variety of finished pieces. The courses, both intensive and enjoyable, are designed to build foundational woodworking skills that will serve you well with any future project. We keep class sizes small in order to tailor lessons and instruction to your individual needs.
Classes are held in a light-filled two-story school and workshop that was specifically designed for maximum inspiration and function. The workspace is set up to accommodate an outstanding selection of equipment, a variety of hand tools, and terrific individual workbenches for your use.
The school is situated on a wooded ten-acres that is habitat for abundant wildlife, and also serves as the home place for the Mehler family. We are located near the lovely tourist/college town of Berea, Kentucky and we are surrounded by a beautiful national forest that serves as the gateway to the Appalachian Mountains.
“The food was outstanding! The variety was good – it was all good!” - Don B. – Michigan
